The Georgia Frances Tait Forever Fund

Georgia was our beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter and best friend. She was loved and adored and made us proud of her all the time. She achieved so much in her 18 years and was sadly taken from us on her 18th birthday. Always a lovely, beautiful, caring, giving girl who showed determination, talent and humour, she was a gifted student excelling in all areas at school. An all A* GCSE student, she would have sailed into Durham University with her A level results of 2A*s and 2As with a staggering 96% in Psychology, her chosen area of study. A life full of love and fun, tragically cut short, she leaves us without her sunshine and beautiful face. So missed but remembered for ever.

I really miss you Georgia, and I hope you're safe and sound wherever you are. You were in my dream last night and it brought back such nice memories of you - it was one of the few dreams ive been able to remember. I'm now the fundraising secretary for the law soc at my uni, and I told them that one of the main charities we should support should be Meningitis, i won't let you down. Darling Georgia

We lit a candle for you today, said prayers for you at midnight mass and pulled your cracker for you. We all miss you terribly today as every other day but think of you always. Today we thought also of the little boy you gave another Christmas to. God bless you and keep you safe for us. All our love, ever and always.

Miss Natalie McGuire
April 23, 2012

When Natalie McGuire recently left APT (Australian Pacific Touring in Wandsworth) instead of a present, Natalie wanted the money donated to a “People” charity that was close to someone’s heart. Natalie worked with a colleague whose daughter is a pupil at Sutton High School, (Rose Amelia Fanning) and upon hearing about Georgia Tait, she was so moved that she chose this charity as being a fitting and worthy cause. Our thoughts and prayers are with The Tait family

Thank you

I'd like to thank everyone who has supported us since losing Georgia and also donated for the walk I made into Durham with my mother and Louis. I had the most wonderful daughter for whom I would do anything - and still will. I have posted some photos with wonderful memories of our very special girl. Walking her to Durham felt like taking her where she wanted to go and seeing her university application and process through. Carolyn xxx

I am Georgia's mother and I would just like to say thank you so much for your thoughts and kindness even though you do not know us. Georgia was the sweetest of girls and touched many hearts - it is so touching now to know that she still reaches out to others and can make some difference still. She certainly changed our lives forever and they will never be the same again. Thank you. X

We are all so sad to hear about Georgia. Our thoughts are with you at this very difficult time. Gemma, Donovan and Anita.xxx

We were so shocked and deeply saddened, last Friday 16th March, to hear that Georgia had died, last year. May her spirit live on in all her family and friends who are fundraising in her memory.

Well done carolyn for the walk, you've done so well to raise so much money for the fund. Georgia was such a beautiful and talented girl, although it doesn't bring her back I'm sure being the selfless and caring person she was, she would be happy to know this could prevent the same thing happening to someone else. See you at christmas, Steph x
