Hey Lucie lu, Keep me strong babey girl, now i know what its like to be in hospital for so long suffering. The docs say I'll be in here for a while longer too, my neurologist has diagnosed me with nerve damage in my spinal cord and syatika pain in my back and legs. I'm not very mobile, but with rehabilitation and intensive physiotherapy they say they can get me walking again which is good! Keep me strong lucie lu, I'm in so much pain and I hate all these injections and tests they are having to do on me :( Miss you beautiful girl. the most precious thing to me in this world. how are you sweetie? i have been thinking about you a lot recenly, i was with my counsellor and she brought you up and i was sharing with her some of the marvelous memories we made together.
Help me Lucie, i guess you are the only person aswell as i that could understand, not even that i completly understand what is going on with me atm. Make me better baby, you see me everyday whats happening? I dont want to have to go the the hospital again like last sunday that scared me too much. Make my thoughts clear for me so i can share them so everyone can understand, i cant do it on my own anymore. Be my support for me, hold my hand for me, i just want this to be over.

Hey my Darling Lu...How are you sweetie? Birthday soon...dw I haven't forgotten!! (; Missing you every day, there's never a moment when I don't think about you! Got some great news the physio today says that my back is in much better shape and that it was the best she had seen it in the couple of months that I had had this problem! How good is that! I was over the moon when she told me! It has been such a big confidence boost and I finally feel like I'm getting better now! :) She also said that it is very unlikely that I'll have any more spasms or panic attacks which is a delight to hear as I'm sure you saw how painful they were for me! Hello my beautiful girl.

I am so sorry I haven't written to you in a long time but I am finding it hard as it reminds me of when you use to sit here chatting away to your friends on the computer. Sometimes I cannot bare to go into this room.
I am missing you so very much - it really doesn't get any easier. Every evening I light a candle next to your photo and it makes me smile seeing it shining on your lovely smiley (always smiley! face).
Jon and Tash are getting married in May so lots to do. Nick is working now (thankfully got him off of the sofa, ha ha. Dad and I saw Cat and her Mum over Christmas and Cat is really growing up fast into a lovely young lady. Also Janet and I met for a coffee with Anita (Hannah's mum). She is such a scream - always makes me laugh.
Miss you so much Lu I sometimes wonder how we magage to go on without you.

How are you hun? Sorry I haven't spoken in a while been sooo busy with skl !! Unfortunately I've got a bad back, and matron says all my muscles are in knots! only a few more days until christmas! i know georgia said she was going to visit you and your mummy on friday with a letter signed by all of us! so i gave her a bauble with lucie on and one big purple one with silver sparkly swirls on that i deocrated myself! we thought that they could be tied to the little star gap on your stone, as i gave everyone i was friends with in the year one we thought it was only right to give you one! i hope you are enjoying the snow aswell, were all hoping for a white christmas :)
please look after your family for the hollidays, i cant even imagine how hard these times are but i'm sure they will just keep smiling, exactly like you do! i really do miss you lucie, and seriously need some help with making this dance up for interhouse in the spring term! after all, we were both meant to be dance captains together. but i really want to do you proud so please help me and look over us when we start rehersing again, could really do with your help gorgeous!! i always think about you lu, everyday something reminds me of you, and i really like it :)

Sorry I havn't written in so long, still think of you everyday though. Got so much going on at the moment... had mocks which went alright, and we have interhouse arts coming up in a few weeks, then christmas. Your mummy said I could decorate you tree at your grave again this year, which is very nice and I will do that soon! Maya, Amilia and I were going to do a sponsered sky dive for meningitis in April, but Im not sure if we can because the day that its on is when they are on the ski trip, but hopefully we could find another one to do!
Im not too sure but I think your tree may have arrived at school, because I saw a tree next to your bench, so next week during break I can go have a look with Kelly. We sat on your bench the other day and it is very peaceful and it is a nice place to relax when we have loads of work to do and things going on!

Hello my daring Lulu, so sorry I havn't written to you in a while but as you know I talk to you all the time. Our summer in Mallorca was good and we tried to have fun and put smiles on our faces but it will never ever be the same without you and I missed you so very much my lovely. Your friends and the school have done so much to raise an amazing amount and Meningitis UK rang me the other day to say that they are having your name engraved on their special stone which is in their forget-me-not garden in Bristol. As soon as dad and I find out it has been done we will visit it. It is so sad to hear Kelly has lost her Nana. I hope you will make friends with her and she can look after you until I can again. I love and miss you so much Lu and I long for the day I can be with you.

As you may have already seen me crying, my nana has just passed away! She had a very serious stroke on friday, and was unfortunatley was in a commer and never woke up. She was a bubbly, smiley person just like you who always welcomed friendly faces!! Now i know just what it is like to loose someone who you are so close to and who you loved ever so much!! Please keep her company, and hopefully you can be best friends just like i wa best friends with you and my nanny. Hopefully you can both watch over me!! Love you both very much! Kelly xx

Sorry i havent written in a long time! Been busy on holiday for a month then back to school! We recieved a certificate on Thursday from meningitis to congratulate us on all the money that we raised!! We have placed it on our wall in the bag room which i am sure you will have already seen!!! :) This year ur wall is twicce as big....but i supose u did always like being centre stage!! Oh also today me n emily went to hockey trials and we saw one single bird flying hovering over the hockey pitch and sitting on the side of the railing we thought it was you coming to see how we were doing!! Thankyou for keeping us all so strong for these past couple of days! They are probaly nearly the hardest days we are all facing.

I can't believe it is a year already, time has passed so quickly! But i supose thats because we have been rembering you in as many ways possible!! We have done a celebration of your life, a week were we wore pink, did cake sales and hot chocolate sales, a show filled with drama, dance and singing, a raffel, the T-factor and have brought you a beautiful pink blossom tree and a bench to sit on with you!!! So many things which we have all enjoyed doing, but the best part was that we knew you were with us every step of the way.

Sorry I havn't written in quite a long time, had boring exams!
Tomorrow we have sports day, and this time last year was the last time I saw you! :( I will be thinking about you alot tomorrow. I can't believe its been more than a year since we went to kingston with our mummies, and went to Jamie's Italian Restaurant and bought them those flowers, and since we went to Claremont, and Guildford. Hey Lu, just wanted you to know that we had a 'dress down' day at work last Friday to raise money for Meningitis UK and although I can't add it to your total (as it was a work fundraiser) we raised another £130 for the cause. Emily cut her finger on the glass round a candle when we visited you yesterday, then 3 white doves appeared and landed on the grass nearby. Miss you and think of you all the time.

Was just passing by last night and i thourght i would quickly pop in to see you! Yet again you looked so pretty! We had a great time in Mallorca with Jonny and Natasha and Nick and Ellie. We had 3 hot sunny days on LuLu Bella and Mum and Natasha did a picknick on Saturday and we went to a bay near to the one we went to that evening with Tim & Co and Emily where I had to cover your eyes so you couldn't see the people on the beach!! Anyway, we droppped the anchor and just lay around and talked for hours which was lovely.

Every time we go out I se you streached out in the bow with your arm over the side shouting faster faster and then screaming when we hit a big wave and you get soaked. Wonderful menories.

Miss you loads my angel. I know you're happy and having fun but also looking out for Mum and all of your many friends.

Went down to the cemetry earlier and your new 'magic stone' (as niki and sasha call it) has arrived. It's soo beautiful, and unique, a bit like you :) And the poem I read at your funeral is on it! I think that it's definatly the prettiest there.

Its nearly your Bithday! I bet your soo excited, i know i am. I have organised this gathering at your grave, where people just who go to st.ts in our year group are welcome to visit at 2 and bring a candle, we will then place these around the edge of the grave to decorate it for you!! I really hope you will like this lu.

Earlier this holiday i had Emily round and we were eating pizza (ur fav) and we were remembering all the good memories that u, i and her shared my old house opposite your grave. You used to love that garden! Ha.. Do you remember that time when we were jumping from my trampoline which had the spinkler under it, into my fishy padling pool! Haha good times! That was also the time when you were wearing my green sparkly swimming costume which was to small for you but u insisted in wearing it cos it sparkled!! :-)

Also do you remember that time when your mum brought your to my old house in your blue mini!! (i loved that car! ha..) That was also the day when we got out my water slide and again you wore my green sparkly swimming costume and we put sooooo much fairy liquid gel on it that when my mum came back with the shopping for the BBQ, she said where is the fairy liquid bottle girls and we though it over the bush to the next door neighbours garden and we were like i dunno u probably used it up all last time!! hehe.. Then you said kelly u gotta go first to test the slide, but i said no way then u said fine i will go and all i remember hearing is a sream getting higher and higher pitched as you went across the slide however at the end you didnt stop which was sooo funny, you kept on going across the grass and straight into the bush!! Ha... We were laughing soo much, and then my mum came out and says well thats were all the fairy liquid gell went!! Haa.. we were laughing soo much!! hehe..

Also do you remember that time when we were at your house at the back of your garden and we were making up a gym routine and we had the music playing out of your shed thing and we were so tired i went to go and sit on your hammock and u said no!!! but it was to late and i had whipped round it and fell into your flower bed!! It was soo funny! Again another memory filled with laughter!! That is how i will always remember you Lulu, and i hop e you also remember all of those many times that we shared in your life time!! I love u lucie, and hope you enjoy your birthday! I have just txt your mum cos i know how much you would like her there too. Love you lucie and will see you on friday!! Just to let you know Freya's mum Louise held a charity lunch on Friday and raised £112 pounds for Meningitus Uk in your memory, isn't that lovely! Also the school are having a fundraising week at the end of term to raise funds for a bench and plant a tree for you. I had an awful day yesterday as it was Mothers Day and you alway made a fuss of me on that day didn't you! It was so hard for me not to have you rush in to the bedroom and give me a big hug and kiss, but then every day is hard without you Lu.

Hi Bella,
Your friend Nicki wrote us a beautiful letter which she delivered on Sunday which was 6 months to the day that we lost you. She misses you very much as do all of your other lovely friends who leave you wondereful messages and light candles for you.

Happy new year! (even though its a bit late. but oh well!) We have started our science GCSEs and they are sooo hard! I bet your glad you dont have to do them! Its been snowing so much and we thaught we would not get in to school to do them because of all the snow! Me and my sister (the one who looks exactly like me as you said, you used to say that to annoy me! lol) built an igloo, but thats melted. We all had a huge snowball fight at school and you would have loved it!
I was just remebering back to year 7 when we used to be the 'bread buddies' that was really funny! A raffle was organised by St Teresa's Year 10 mums and tickets were sold at 'Lucie's Show' in March. The prize was a wonderful painting generously donated by the artist, Sherree Valentine-Daines. The draw took place on 26 April at Sherree's house where the winner very kindly presented the painting to the West family.

On Friday 12th March St Teresa's Yr 10 mums held a lunch at Freya's house to raise money for Meningitis UK and CHASE hospice care for children. £112 has been donated to the Lucie Fund.
