Thomas is our youngest son, he passed away very suddenly on Sunday 15th of February 2009, to pneumococcal meningitis, he had no symptoms at all, he had been a little sick but we put that down to a take-away the night before. Thomas was a very happy, jolly, bouncy boy,he has left a great void in our lives.
We did the roses walk in May 2009, Damian walked the full distance coast to coast ( Blackpool to Bridlington) with his friends Matt and Charlotte well done to you all, my self and Shaun did the first and last days, we also organised our own fundraising night in memory of Thomas and raised £2500 for Meningitis Uk and awareness of the horrible disease that can take a life in hours...... July 2010 we had another "Tribute to Thomas" night, September Damian and his friend Adam did the Great North Run they both did really well finishing in 2hr 3mins. Our thanks go out to all family and friends who constantly support us and Meningitis Uk.
